Publication Ethics
Hong Kong Guokang Future Publishing House Co., Limited follows internationally recognized ethical standards for publishing, and in accordance with the relevant guidelines published by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), combined with the actual situation of this journal, has formulated its academic ethical standards. Authors, editors, and reviewers are requested to strictly follow these standards.
1. Author Responsibilities
- The author should ensure that the manuscript is an original work, confirm that the research results of other scholars mentioned in the article have been appropriately cited and annotated, and have no academic misconduct such as plagiarism, data fabrication, multiple submissions, or duplicate publication, and do not contain confidential information.
- All listed authors must meet the authorship standards of this journal β each must have substantially participated in the research or related work, making significant contributions to the concept and design of the research, the acquisition of research data, the analysis and interpretation of data, and the writing or critical revision of the manuscript.
- The author is responsible for declaring their personal contributions to the research and article, as well as any potential conflicts of interest involved in the research. All authors are required to submit an "Author Contribution Statement" and "Conflict of Interest Statement" confirming substantial contribution and disclosing all conflicts of interest. A potential conflict of interest exists when the financial, personal, or affiliation relationship of the author (or the author's institution/employer) may affect the author's decision, work, or manuscript. Where products are mentioned in the manuscript, the author should also disclose any conflict of interest with competing products.
- Funding information related to the study must be included in the manuscript; funding information unrelated to the study should not be included.
2. Editorial Responsibilities
- Editors should handle each manuscript fairly and consistently, making acceptance and rejection decisions based on the journal's publication scope, novelty, and academic relevance.
- Editors strictly follow the journal's review system and keep authentic review records, maintaining confidentiality of author and reviewer information, research results, and intermediate materials used for manuscript processing.
- Editors are responsible for avoiding academic misconduct such as multiple submissions and duplicate publications, and conduct plagiarism checks on incoming manuscripts as required by the editorial department.
- Editors provide detailed revision suggestions to authors, objectively state the situation of the manuscript, and do not make personal evaluations or attacks on reviewers or authors.
- In the editing and publishing process, editors respect the author's viewpoints and writing style; key modifications such as academic viewpoints must be approved by the author.
- Editors accept the author's right to appeal: if an author has objections to review opinions or results, they may submit a written statement to the editorial department, providing detailed explanations for each review opinion. The editor will investigate and provide feedback on the appeal results.
- Editors encourage authors and readers to discuss published articles. Comments sent to the journal email will be processed and, where appropriate, feedback will be provided. Readers and authors are welcome to supervise each other and provide feedback to help maintain a good academic atmosphere.
3. Responsibilities of Reviewers
- Reviewers make an honest, objective, and fair evaluation of the manuscript on the principle of maintaining academic integrity and respecting academic freedom. There shall be no bias or discrimination against the author's country, institution, race, religion, political beliefs, or gender, and the author's research content shall not be disclosed.
- When there is a conflict of interest between the reviewer and the author (such as family relationships, teacher-student relationships, alumni relationships, colleague relationships, or competitive relationships), the reviewer should promptly consult the editorial department for further guidance to ensure fairness of the review.
- When a reviewer discovers that the author's research is similar to their own, the review opinion must not contain unproven or malicious criticism, or unfair content, and must avoid making unfounded accusations.
- Reviewers should review the manuscript in a timely manner according to the agreed schedule. If unable to review and return the manuscript on time, they should inform the editorial department promptly and withdraw from the review. Without the consent of the editorial department, reviewers are not allowed to delegate the review to their own students, colleagues, or others.
- When reviewers encounter a manuscript they have previously reviewed, they have an obligation to report the situation to the editorial department and complete the review in accordance with the journal's inclusion standards.
